Injury prevention screenings are used throughout the country for athletes in order for them to perform at their highest capacity with less concern for injury. Why should this be any different for the beautiful art form of dancing?

Dancing causes increased stress on the body that can cause injuries if not addressed appropriately
A large number of health care providers don't specialize in dancers and do not understand how dancers "move" . This then causes them to prescribe improper treatment if a dancer becomes injured.
Each assessment will be individualized and every home exercise program with focus on that dancers ailments
For most professional or pre pro dancers, they do not have health insurance. Having a screening can help assist them in decreasing risk of injury and improving longevity of their dancing career.
No. This assessment is not made to diagnose any previous injuries. What you will receive is information designed to help you determine your strengths, weaknesses, and injury risks.
My ultimate goal is to help decrease any risk of injuries and EDUCATE! Every dancer is different, physically and anatomically. In some cases the "old way" of teaching may not be the right way.
